EGCO Group, the first Independent Power Producer in Thailand, announces the appointment of Mr.Vinit Tangnoi as its new President, replacing former Mr.Visit Akaravinak which is effective on October 1, 2008.
Mr.Vinit is responsible for overseeing the corporate goals and formulating the strategic plan and investment in power generation locally and internationally as well as businesses relating to the energy sector which all of these will bring EGCO Group to grow with the most profit for all stakeholders.
Prior to his present appointment of EGCO Group President, Mr.Vinit worked as the Deputy Governor-Generation of EGAT with over 30 years working experience in power industry.
Mr.Vinit graduated Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from University of Taxas, USA. and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineeringfrom Kasetsart University. In addition, he has also attended the advance management courses from the leading domestic and international institutes.
