Thailand is accelerating its transformation into a regional hub for science, biotechnology, and innovation with the return of Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL 2025, taking place from 3–5 September 2025 at BITEC, Bangkok. Now in its 15th edition, the event expands in both scope and scale—bringing together Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL, BioAP INTERNATIONAL, FutureCHEM INTERNATIONAL, and introducing Health & Innovation Asia and the Food For Health Pavilion. Organized by VNU Asia Pacific, the show creates a comprehensive innovation ecosystem connecting science, healthcare, and future food solutions. With over 500 exhibiting brands from 12 countries, including international pavilions from China, Taiwan, and South Korea, and covering 15,000 sq.m. of exhibition space—60% Thai and 40% international exhibitors—the event reinforces Thailand’s growing role in the regional innovation and laboratory technology supply chain.
At the official press conference held on August 1, 2025, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), VNU Asia Pacific hosted a high-level panel discussion under the theme “Sustainable LAB & Sustainable Health for Sustainable Society.” The session brought together key stakeholders across science, technology, and sustainability sectors to share perspectives and inspire future directions in the industry. Distinguished speakers included Mr. Pongsak Fusiri, President of the Science and Technology Trade Association (STTA); Dr. Nares Damrongchai, Executive Director of the Thailand–Japan Technology Promotion Association (TPA); and Asst. Prof. Suchada Chaisawat, Advisor of the EESH Center, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). Together, they addressed market trends, current challenges, and cross-industry collaboration strategies for Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL.

“Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL 2025 step into the new marketplace is further strengthened by new institutional partners such as Big Data Institute, TED Fund, KX Knowledge Xchange, Bartlab, Thai Medical Robotic and AI Association, Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan), , and the MIND Center, reinforcing Thailand LAB’s role as a national launchpad for science-driven innovation. This momentum is further strengthened by the continued support of esteemed government agencies and industry associations, including the Department of Science Service (DSS), Department of Livestock Development (DLD), Department of Industrial Works (DIW), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), National Institute of Metrology (Thailand) (NIMT), Association of Medical Technologists of Thailand (AMTT), Genetics Society of Thailand (GST), KU-FIRST, Institute of Food Research and Product Development (IFRPD), National Food Institute (NFI), Thai Society of Toxicology (TST), The Virology Association (Thailand), The Biosafety Association (Thailand), Biotech Industry Club, ThaiBIO Association, and many more. Their collaboration continues to shape the event’s cross-sector impact and drive innovation across the scientific, health, and industrial landscape.” Mr. Anucha Parnpichate, Assistant Director of VNU Asia Pacific said.

A Scientific Marketplace That Moves the Economy
Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL 2025 is more than just a product showcase—it’s where science meets business to turn research into real-world solutions across healthcare, biotech, food, and the environment. This year introduces new highlights, including a Startup Pavilion, cutting-edge product launches, and awards for booth design and sustainability. Business matching—both online and onsite—will help participants connect with the right partners. Most notably, the show advances its commitment to sustainability with the launch of its first Carbon Neutrality Program.
Asst. Prof. Suchada Chaisawat, Advisor of the EESH Center, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) said that “In the face of escalating global risks—ranging from extreme weather and biodiversity loss to emerging pandemics—sustainability is no longer a choice but an urgent imperative. As the world advances toward a Net Zero Carbon Society, laboratories must accelerate their transformation by embracing sustainable frameworks, digitalization, and AI-driven technologies. The goal is clear: to become net-zero carbon labs by 2050—a critical step in creating safer, smarter, and climate-resilient scientific environments for the future.”

Thought Leadership on Stage: 65+ Sessions | 160+ Speakers
The conference program features over 65 sessions, curated by 26 local and international associations, and hosted across specialized tracks on biotechnology, diagnostics, digital labs, and advanced chemical applications. More than 160 speakers will share strategic insights and technical breakthroughs—connecting research to commercialization.
Key topics and sessions include: Biotech Frontiers Forum #6 (FTI), The 9th Biotechnology International Congress (BIC 2025), Composites in Laboratory Applications, Global Testing Standards for Business Resilience (NSTDA), AI Applications for ISO/IEC 17025 Labs (TISTR), Beauty Beyond Tomorrow: Cosmetic Innovation & Sustainability (TCOS) and many more.

Spotlight on Health & Innovation Asia 2025
As part of the 2025 ecosystem, Health & Innovation Asia (H&IA) and the Future Food Pavilion will spotlight digital health, AI, diagnostics, and functional food innovation. With 40 exhibitors, three pavilions, H&IA connects health-tech, food science, and national policy through a 3-day, 20-session dedicated conference.
Highlights include: The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) and AI – Bay Computing, Thai Health-Tech Startups Panel – AIAT, Functional Food as Medicine – Mahidol University, BOI Investment Incentives for Healthcare Businesses, Health & Innovation Hackathon 2025 – NSTDA & Phramongkutklao College of Medicine, and Nationwide Health Data Platform – Big Data Institute.
Dr. Nares Damrongchai, Executive Director of the Thailand–Japan Technology Promotion Association (TPA) states that “As global trade faces uncertainty, Thailand’s growth engine is shifting toward high-value services—especially preventive healthcare and the aging population market,” said Dr. Nares. “To stay competitive, our laboratories must embrace automation, IoT, and cybersecurity. With Japan investing over 40 billion baht last year, it remains Thailand’s key partner in both technology and the senior healthcare economy.”
