Mr. Panithan Bumrasarinpai shared the vision of growing opportunity of energy sector that “from now until 2015, Thailand is growing fast especially in energy sector propelled largely by direct foreign investment and private businesspeople. Thai law always supports foreign investments. According to the surveys conducted by the World Bank on countries’ investment attractiveness, Thailand ranks fourth in Eastern Asia-Pacific. Moreover Thailand grew 6.4% in 2012, and became the 30th largest economy in the world representing high demand of energy consumptions for driving Thailand economy. Because Thailand is seen as a gateway to the heart of Asia, offers convenient trade with China, India, and the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) with easy access into the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS), where newly emerging markets offer great business potential. With steady economic development and strong support industries, Thailand’s industrial production has grown and diversified rapidly both in long–established and newly emerging industries. These are reasons why energy sector in Thailand is considering high opportunity at this particular moment.

And I am confident that by 2020, clean energy will be one of the world’s biggest industries. As you know every country in the world aims to reduce carbon emission, pollution, and greenhouse gas. This is one of the reasons why we organize this show: EcoLightTech Asia 2013 because we all need to boost up clean and eco-friendly lighting technology to the industrial’s awareness. I personally believe that the growing business can get along with the sustainable environment with no problem.”

For the next show, I believe EcoLightTech Asia 2014 will play more important role not only in ASIA but also attracts even more key exhibitors and buyers from around the world.
